Extended Service Desk hours
The busiest days for our award-winning Service Desk are exam download and results days. Because of this, we are extending our Service Desk opening hours on these days as follows:
Download days (14th & 21st August): 7am – 5pm
Results days (15th & 22nd August): 8am – 5pm
Throughout the rest of August we are open our usual August hours of 9am – 5pm.

The Service Desk will be open from 7.30am as usual on Monday 2nd September.
DfE changes to attendance codes from 19th August 2024
From 19th August 2024 there are several changes to attendance codes as per DfE guidance.
Changes include:
Removal of some historic codes
Introduction of new codes including multi-character codes

MyScomis
Did you know you can log a call via MyScomis our self service customer portal?
Using your unique email address and password you can access here, you will receive your case reference immediately and your case will be responded to in the same way as a telephone call.
Not got a password? Please email scomis@devon.gov.uk and we will send you a new password.
Scomis Service Status
Did you know that you can check the status of our Scomis services via our service status page? There you can subscribe to receive email and/or text notifications for each service that is relevant to you.
How do I ensure I am prepared for exam results day?
I’m glad you asked! You can find all our 2024 Examinations guidance in our MyScomis article or our FAQ. This includes guidance on what to do to prepare for results day, how to import results, how to set embargos, how to deal with errors etc.
We’ll be open extended hours for exam days:
Download days (14th & 21st August): The Scomis Service Desk will be open from 7am to 5pm.
Results days (15th & 22nd August): The Scomis Service Desk will be open from 8am to 5pm.
